Animated logo reveal

A 2–3 second logo reveal from your own brand: the mark draws in, the wordmark follows, the lockup holds.

The result: a 2-second logo reveal.

When you need it

A logo reveal is the logo arriving on screen in two or three seconds. It opens a launch video, closes a demo, sits between episodes of a series, or plays on its own as a post. Make it once and every video after that can start or end with it.

Make it before anything else in a motion brand kit: it is the shortest part, and it sets the motion character that the intro, the outro and the transitions will follow.

Before you start

Fill in your brand in Settings › Project › Brand: the logos for light and dark backgrounds and the mark on its own, your colors and fonts. An SVG logo is better than a PNG: it scales cleanly and its outline can be drawn on. The agent reads the brand for every video in the project, so the prompt doesn't have to repeat it.

The prompt

Using our brand, make a 2-second logo reveal on a dark background, 16:9. Mark first, then wordmark: the mark draws in, and the wordmark builds in letter by letter while the mark is still settling. Then the full lockup holds still for the last second. Calm and precise: ease out, no bounce, no glow, one accent color at most.

What matters in the prompt:

  • The order. "Mark first, then wordmark" is what makes it read as a reveal rather than two things appearing at once.
  • The character of the motion. "Calm and precise" or "snappy and playful" changes the result more than any number does.
  • The hold. A second of stillness at the end lets you trim the reveal cleanly when you drop it into another video.

Components that fit

  • Per Character Rise: the wordmark's letters slide up one by one, crisp and even.
  • Mask Reveal Up: the wordmark rises from under a soft mask, with no overshoot.
  • Squeeze In: the letters appear one by one, then the word settles tighter as the last one lands.
  • Outline Trace: the wordmark is drawn as an outline first, then filled.
  • Period Drop: for a playful lockup that ends on a colored dot.

Logo Enter is for a group of several logos arriving together, such as a "works with" row. For a single mark the agent builds the mark's own entrance in your project.

Variations

On a light background

Same logo reveal on a light background. Use our on-light logo.

Vertical

Create a new video in the same project with the 9:16 ratio and send the main prompt with "9:16" instead of "16:9". Center the lockup and keep it in the middle third, away from the captions and buttons that Reels and TikTok put over the edges.

With sound

Add a short soft whoosh under the mark and a quiet click when the lockup locks. Keep it subtle.

Studio can generate sound effects through your own ElevenLabs account, and each paid request waits for your approval. You can also attach a sound file of your own to the message. Most feeds autoplay muted, so the reveal has to work silently first; see Music and sound.

Save it for next time

Save the logo reveal as a component with the entry role.

It then appears in the Components view of every project, under Entry. Any new video can start with:
