From a raw screen recording to a polished feature demo

Zoom, highlight, caption and trim a screen recording by describing it, without opening a video editor.

Everyone has the raw recording. The cursor wanders, the text is too small to read on a phone, and the moment that matters lasts half a second. Fixing that usually means a video editor, keyframes and an afternoon.

In Remocn Studio you describe the fix instead: zoom here, highlight that, caption this, speed up the boring part. The agent builds it as code on top of your footage, so every decision can be changed with a sentence.

Record so the edit is easy

A few habits save most of the work later:

  • Clean desktop, notifications off, interface zoomed in so text is big.
  • One recording, one action. Three short clips beat one long take.
  • Move slowly. Pause before the important click and after the result.
  • Record at a high resolution. You'll be zooming in.

Bring it in

Drag the recording into the Assets panel to keep it in your library, or straight into the message to use it in this video only. Very large footage plays in the preview from a lighter copy, so the preview stays responsive. The export always renders from the original. New footage is embedded so that every frame lands in the export, and the design check flags older clips that would repeat a frame.

Describe the demo

Create a video in the shape you need, 16:9 for a website or X, 9:16 for Reels, and describe what the viewer should see:

Turn the attached recording into a 20-second demo of bulk export. Zoom into the export button at 0:04 and highlight it. Caption: "One click." Speed up the loading between 0:06 and 0:12. Hold on the finished list for two seconds, then end on our logo.

Timestamps help. So does saying what the viewer should notice, not only what to animate: "the viewer should see that all 20 files appear at once."

Give notes

Watch it, then:

  • Click a caption to change its text, size or position. The change goes into the code.
  • Drag a Snapshot box over a spot: "zoom here instead, the button is off-center."
  • Or type it: "the zoom is too fast, ease into it."

Save the demo kit

After the first demo, keep the pieces you'll want every time:

  • Caption style
  • A highlight around an element (emphasis)
  • Zoom in and out of a region
  • End card

The next demo starts from them: "Use our caption, highlight and zoom. Recording attached."

Export

  • Website: WebM keeps the file small. Pick Standard quality and loop it on the page.
  • Social: the YouTube preset for X, Shorts · Reels · TikTok for vertical.
  • Docs or README: a short GIF.
