Your best customer tweets, as a Reels series

Three formats for turning testimonials into short videos, the parts to save, and how to use other people's words fairly.

People say nice things about your product on X, and then the timeline buries them. A screenshot in a carousel gets a glance. The same quote, staged as a short video and followed by the feature it praises, gets watched.

Here's how to turn testimonials into a repeating series.

Ask first

Before anything else, ask the author if you can use their post in a video. Most people say yes, happily. Keep their words exactly as written, keep their name and handle visible, and never trim a quote so it says more than they meant.

Three formats

  • Feed. One post, big. The key phrase lights up, then the video cuts to the feature they're talking about. For a single strong quote.
  • Grid. Several short posts arrive one by one and settle into a grid. For "people keep saying the same thing".
  • Cuts. Quick cuts between quotes on the beat of a track. For a launch week or a milestone.

Set up once

Create a project for the series and set your brand. Add your product recordings to the library, so each quote can be followed by the feature it praises.

Then make the first video. Attach a screenshot of the post, or paste its text with the name and handle:

A 10-second vertical video in the Feed format. The attached post, large; highlight "saved me a whole day". Then 3 seconds of the export recording from our library. End on our logo.

Fix what's off with notes, or by clicking elements on the preview.

Save the parts

Once one looks right:

Save the post card, the quote highlight and the end card as components.

Every next testimonial is a new video and one line: "Feed format, our post card and highlight, this post, then the templates recording."

Do the same for Grid and Cuts once, and save what's different about them: the way posts tile in, the rhythm of the cuts.

Where they work

  • Reels, TikTok, Shorts: export with the Shorts · Reels · TikTok preset.
  • Your site: a looping WebM next to the pricing table does more than a static wall of quotes.
  • Email: a GIF of the Feed format in a launch email.
